As you can tell from the heading above i will be doing a blog on Far Cry 3.

The game starts out with Jason Brody on holiday with his friends and go on a skydiving trip and land in an island filled with pirates. They are all taken as prisoners by the pirate leader Vaas. Vaas is main objective at this point is money so he plans to get ransom money from their parents then sell them into slavery. Jason and his brother Grant attempt to break out of prison and make it to the beginning of the jungle then Grant get shot by Vaas and so does his other friend Vincent Salas
Jason escapes the jungle and is saved by a man named Dennis. Dennis sees potential in Jason as a strong warrior and gives him a tattoo that allows him to access special powers . From this point on its just him rescuing his friends one by one and taking them to Dr.Earnhardt who is a drug and medicine expert where they hide in a small cave. during the game Jason develops into a fierce killer.
You eventually kill Vaas and move to the southern island where you go to try and hunt down hoyt who is a slave trader. Jason swears to citra that he will kill hoyt for what he had done. After you kill hoyt and find your little brother Riley you go to take him back to Dr.earnhardt,s mannison and find that the house is on fire and in Dr.earnhardt,s last words he tells you that citra and her warriors had taken your friends away. He goes back to cita to find that she took everyone captive. After, you go into a hallucination
where you have to choose between staying on the island with citra or leaving with your friends.
if you choose to stay with citra she ends up betraying you and if you go with your friends citra will try and convince you to stay but Jason apologies to her and leaves. they all leave by boat and live happily ever after.
What you can do
There are so many different things you can do on Far Cry that i won't be able to say them all but i'll hopefully covery some of it.
hunting:
In Far Cry hunting is a very big part of the game because as you go through the game you can craft upgrades for all you equipment so you can carry more ammo,guns etc and to do so you will need animal skin. to get animal skin all you have to do is kill and animal and go up and skin. different animal skin will let you craft different things. You can also do hunting challenges where you have to go and kill a certain animal with the weapon provided and if you successfully do so you will earn money and xp
Shopping
Shopping isn't is a big as big a quality as hunting in Far Cry but is something you tend to do a lot. you can find a shop at any town, village or safe house. the shops offer you things such as guns and equipment but mostly guns. you can also sell all your unwanted items to. If you don't want to have to spend all your hard earned money on guns you can unlock radio towers which let you get guns for free in the shop and unlocks area on your gps.
Side Quests
along with all the main story missions you can have lots of fun with side quests which will earn you money and experience as well as other things. some of the side quests you can do are racing,throwing knife game, supply drop and stronghold takeover.
leveling up
leveling up in Far Cry is a very big part of the game because when you level up you get skills points which you can spent on learning new abilities which will aid you in the game.
There are three different types of ability trees.
The heron long range attacks
The shark healing.
The spider all about stealth
personally i think Far Cry 3 is an absolutely amazing game the graphics were amazing the story was great and you weren't bored for a minute while playing it. It was really fun and i had a great time playing it so all together i rate it 5 killer tigers out of 5
